Suicide Survivors Summer Retreat

The Suicide Survivors Summer Retreat is co-hosted by C.O.P.S. and Survivors of Blue Suicide Foundation. This retreat is planned for surviving spouses, fiancés, significant others, adult children, spouses parents, spouses siblings and grandchildren of law enforcement suicide. Other relatives and friends are not eligible to attend.



How will this retreat benefit me?

You will spend the weekend bonding and receiving support from others who genuinely know how you feel, attending sessions designed for your needs, participating in activities that challenge your limits, and unwinding in a stress free environment. It is our goal for you to leave the retreat feeling relaxed with a support system of peers and knowledge to help you in the future.


What is the cost of the retreat?

Your only expenses will be the cost of your airfare to and from Oklahoma City Airport or mileage to and from St. Crispin’s Retreat Facility. If you are flying, C.O.P.S./SBS will provide bussing from the Oklahoma City Airport upon arrival and bussing back to the Oklahoma City Airport upon departure. All lodging, meals and activities are provided at no cost. If you fail to cancel your attendance or do not show up for the program, you may be subject to a participation fee for the following year’s program.

Travel Information

If you are flying: You should plan to arrive at the Oklahoma City International Airport (OKC) between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 7. You will be transported to St. Crispin’s by bus. You will be transported back to the airport by 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 10. Please plan your return flight AFTER 12:00 p.m. to allow time for check-in and security checks. Due to recent travel restrictions, we suggest purchasing travel insurance.



If you are driving: You should plan to arrive at the St. Crispin’s between 3:00- 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, and stay through breakfast on Monday, June 10. Meals and activities are planned; no late arrivals or early departures please.


Travel assistance is provided by Survivors of Blue Suicide Foundation for up to $300/person. To qualify, you must register before the deadline and complete the retreat. More details will be provided upon registering.
