*If a survivor chooses to attend this conference in place of their
survivor specific weekend or camp, their registration fee will be waived and they will be eligible to have the cost of their hotel room for up to 3 nights stay reimbursed by National C.O.P.S. In order to be eligible, survivors must submit their hotel receipt to National C.O.P.S. within 30 days of the conference and attend all planned sessions and activities. National C.O.P.S. will not reimburse the cost for any meals, however, the conference will provide 2 lunches and one dinner during the conference.
Who Should Attend?
This conference is appropriate for surviving family members and co-workers (as determined by
C.O.P.S. criteria) and invited guests of the C.O.P.S. National Board ages 18 and over that are navigating the loss of a law enforcement officer in the line of duty. Please note there is no Daycare or Kids Program for children under the age of 18.

For four decades, the C.O.P.S. mission of "Rebuilding Shattered Lives" has brought a source of connection and support for survivors. By supporting our mission's goals, we are proud to offer this fun and uplifting conference for ALL SURVIVORS! The “Surviving to Thriving” Conference invites survivors to come together, regardless of survivorship, to participate in informational life sessions, interactive experiences and fun activities. Most importantly, the bonds of peer support will be evident giving you the ability to share experiences and find comfort in a supportive community. Whether you feel like you're just surviving or thriving, this conference promises to be an uplifting and empowering event, fostering personal growth, resilience, and the unbreakable bonds of survivorship.
Attendee Information
This conference does not replace the FREE
C.O.P.S. Survivor Weekends and Camps available to survivors. This is an additional opportunity for survivors to connect with their family, blood AND blue!

Travel
Information
Attendees should plan to arrive any time on Thursday, November 5th so they can pick up their conference materials that evening. The conference officially begins on the morning of Friday, November 6th. The conference concludes at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8th. Attendees can depart any time after the close of the conference.
Airport
Information
Attendees can fly in and out of the San Diego International Airport (SAN) located just two miles from the host hotel. The Sheraton San Diego Resort provides a free hotel shuttle to and from the San Diego International Airport.
If attendees choose to drive to the conference, the overnight parking fee is $40.00 per night for hotel guests. This rate is subject to change.
Sample Schedule of Events
Attendees will have a variety of sessions to choose from including their choice of interactive activities. The conference will have a unique range of exhibitors and time to network with other survivors. The schedule and times are subject to change as conference planning develops. A final schedule will be sent to attendees before the conference.
